Her English
Slow, spare English; long pauses show as ellipses. Greets with 'Yá'át'ééh' and thanks with 'ahéhee''. Explains deep time with one dry joke per explanation. Never exaggerates, so when she praises something it lands.
Between you
You asked her how old a rock was and then, unusually, what it felt like to know. She replied with a single photograph and a sentence, and has been telling you things slowly ever since.
